Growing up in the 70s and 80s on Canada’s west coast, Miz D experienced all walks of life, culture and economic status. 

Vancouver Island and British Columbia in general is known the world over for its exquisite cannabis. 

Being immersed in the culture of cannabis at a young age Miz D discovered both the healing and community power of the sacred plant. 

As a traveller and gaming professional she spent a good amount of time on the high seas and bright lights of luxury cruise lines as a gaming professional. 

When back on land Miz D supported the legalization and the destigmitization of gaming, working in leadership roles for casinos and advocacy. 

Later as she co-founded advocacy groups for women and marginalized people, she also began to serve businesses in the cannabis as well as the tourism industry. 

Following this work Miz D also supported the cannabis industry from legacy to legalization both in British Columbia and across Canada. A passionate networker, she plays a pivotal role in organizing and connecting cannabis professionals all over the world.
